England Flag in Accy

At long last a St Georges flag flies outside the Town Hall. When it was St George's day they flew the Union Jack ( flag) Telling me every year that I asked where the St George's flag was. They said that they didn't have one. Nor did they have one in Oswaldtwistle. What utter rubbish. Truth was they couldn't be bothered getting it out and flying it. So, we have all seen the flag now. Let's hope it flies every St Georges day. On all our civic buildings.:engsmil:

Proberly spent months arguing over wether it was worthwile and who would have the honour o running it up. Makes me wonder why they didnt put it up even for St Georges Day the one day in the year it would be and should be expected to fly.
