Dentistry apart, kissing backsides and backstabbing is part of the makeup of the DNA of politicians. Stomping on people to crawl their way up up to the surface (just like detritus ) is just how they swim. What's a little pain on the arse when you can wallow in the rewards of arseolism. (is that a word? )

I seem to remember that the present incumbent was a very popular choice (for some) when he first stood, he's now as popular as fart in a space suite, be careful what you wish for Mr. D.

so what shes surrounded by them especially at council meetings

i fail to see how name calling teh people of oswaldtwistle acheives anything or qualifies her for parliament?

I see a poor loser who turned his back on those who elected him while standing for one party only to become independent and allegedly align himself with another party hated by many of those who voted for him.

Looks to me like his poor judgement and contempt for those who voted for him put him in the position he is in now. Did he really expect the Labour supporters to still support him after he left the party?

i dont think it will be leaving the labour party that lost him votes but his selling of his soul to the con party for mayorship
