Exercise trail.
Probably been there some while, but I have only just noticed the posts in various parks. These posts instruct you to hop, run or other ways of propelling yourself to get you to the next post.
Think this is great fun .. watched some children in Mercer Park doing this yesterday and even the Grandparents joined in. Sure I saw the dog hopping too ..LOL. Mind you, didn't stop the kids taking a short break to climb a laburnum tree to shake down the blossom all over me. Just smiled through gritted teeth.
Have you done it ? .. would have had a go, but ya' feel daft on yer own, don't ya'.

Re: Exercise trail.
It was me, I like nothing better than to spend my days prowling around in trees.

Yes, they are Andrew and Haworth Art Gallery.. that's where I first saw them .. course a bit hillier there than Mercer Park .. loved watching some of our Asian ladies in their sari's doing this.
Not sure if in all the parks ? Neil will know if in Rhyddings.

Gayle and I attended a meeting about these walks a few months ago. We were talking about waiting until the park has had the work done to it before adding the markers. I know they are not there at the moment but cant remember if we decided to add them in the end. Our thoughts were that the paths might not stay where they are now and that many of the paths are not really fit to be used in such a scheme.
I think we decided to wait. Yes I am sure we did.
