If you could beg a wish from your Fairy Godmother......what would it be....?(you can't wish for money)

To have the ability to be invisible, or to fly in the air like swimming, which I've dreamt of doing since I was a child and still do.

Re: Fairy Godmother.

To effect real changes in our own local world. I was watching a report recently that outlined the shortfall of Palliative Care Services in the community. That’s something I want to change over the next few years.

Oh, yes, perhaps I should have gone for a more political answer - never mind, I'd give it all up to be slim and stay slim. That's how shallow I really am! lol

Mine is ever so personal.... my baby sister.....who is 42 by the way.....is due to have some major surgery in mid January......I would just love to be able to go out and help look after her and her family. She is in Brisbane, so I think it is a long shot. But just in case you are listening Fairy Godmother - Be quick!
It takes me 6 weeks to get a visa.

Mrs Pilkington. If I should kneel before Fortune and win the Lottery, you will indeed be going. I hope your wish comes true.

Re: Fairy Godmother.

I too feel shallow for wasting my wish on wanting to swim through the air.

Is it too late to wish for world peace and that all the little babies in Africa don't starve? Or shall I save that for when I enter Accrington's Carnival Queen?

Doug, I will leave it to your imagination.......and as for the thread, well......I was talking to my fairy Godmother in my blog and thought it was quite seasonal. glad you approve!

Anyway if she can't fix me a ticket to Brisbane......how about racial harmony and an end to poverty.
