No, afraid not, SM, you might try via his present employers. Sky Sports. Incidentally, I was at school with Jim Harrower whose dad, Jim Harrower senior, was one of the most famous Stanley players and managers of the 50s/60s. Not seen him since school but I know he's the MD of Sealy Beds so you could try to contact him there to see if wants to talk about his memories of his late dad. Welcome to Sealy United Kingdom - home of the world's favorite bed
Sorry for thread wander, folks.

Re: Familiar Face
Instead of starting a new thread i thought i`d drag this one back up again as yesterday morning i ran into none other than Michael Owen and the rest of the Newcastle thread at the Marriot Hotel in Garstang...........before they got hammered by Blackburn obviously..... They were saying that Big Sam will be good for Blackburn...and so far they seem to be right

He might have been good for them if he'd been given a chance, but their lose is our gain

He quite possibly could have been giving items to oxfam and that could be the reason for him parking on the disabled space infront of this shop for a few minutes.
I know lots of people with disabled badges who are not disabled enough to warrant a badge, a lot of them exaggerate their disability to get better benefits and a perk of this is a disability badge.I only have sympathy for the elderly and genuine disabled who are the minority badge holders.
I would think twice before acting like a idiot and parking your car across another and blocking it in.You might get your own car damaged or your tyres puntured doing a trick like that, unless that badge of yours is more privileged and allows you to take the law into your own hands.

Must have missed this first time around, but it reminded me about the time I went it the Arndale Centre early one morning and had parked in one of the disabled bays (I have a blue badge and am entitled to it) as I got out of my car a young woman came roaring in in an RS2000 and parked in another disabled bay, as she got out she quite obviously wasn't disabled and didn't have a badge either, so I just said excuse me but these bays are for the disabled, to which she replied "well I'll be disabled for today" I then replied and so will your car because I'll let all your F@*^+ tyres if you leave it there, She moved it
