Am ashamed to say I have only just learned of this famous man. Its not Accrington connected, but just very interesting. I LOVE the rock gardens at Lytham St Annes, was there only a couple of weeks ago. Now I know who had the "brains" to designed them. Well done Thomas! |

Amongst his other major works, Mawson designed Stanley Park, Blackpool, where many an Accringtonian has had pleasure.
