I must be a saddo because I can't remember what was my fav toy.
I enjoyed the usual Lego and meccano but I spent most of my childhood playing outside when ever I could.

I had the golf thing that had a player on the end and you could change clubs and balls depending on where you were on the course (ie hard ball for driving and a softer ball for putting)
Also had Action Man, train set, meccano, bike and playing out with mates.
LancsYorks think that the erector set same as meccano
I still have mine or whats left of him it (was) a cuddly dog he is over 50 years old now and a little worse for wear hehe
Anne has tried to throw him in the bin a few times but i got there just in time .
Grrrrrr Rindy. I'm not 50 nor am I ever going to be 50.
His name's Bow.
He's more holes than dog now. I have tried to patch him up a few times over the years.
Twice I have tried to throw the moth eaten thing in the bin. One of these times after a row.
The big softy even wants it to be buried with him.
I to still love crayoning Granny.
For the life of me, I cannot think of any "favourite" toys from my childhood. It occurred to me while I was reading the thread that with the exception of Len and Macca (ok, rindy too ) that the vast majority of those replying to the thread are ladies Maybe "favourite toys" are remembered more by the fairer sex than men?
