If I give Karma it’s because someone (in no particular order) lightened my day and made me smile, help someone who’s struggling or as been unfairly targeted by idiots or otherwise or has posted something that deserved it on merit. Whatever the reason it’s my choice and over the months you have benefited more than most for all of the aforementioned reasons so stop cribbing about karma..

Re: First fairy grotto.

I happened to be in Rishton this morning, at 5:45am. At the bottom of Hermitage Street there was a half-mad old woman perched on top of a ladder to position an illuminated Father Christmas and a Snowman on the top of her bay window.

Christmas Spirit is one thing, that was just plain insanity.

Re: First fairy grotto.

Yup a family round the back of us have got all their Christmas decs up and have had them up since 6th November. I find it really annoying that I'm going to have to look at these things for ages! It would be OK if they had done it tastefully nope OTT and very tacky!!

I do totally agree that it’s madness and quite unnecessary this early in the year. It’s much more pleasing to see these things appear in the two weeks before Christmas and disappear the day after. I’m not Joking………..

Maybe there should be a bye law against it. Think of the poor parents who's kids decide crimbo is here and give mum and dad a hard time.

there should be a law against it so that we can see the councilors get taken away to prison for leaving them up all year lol
