First fairy grotto.

There is a house in Oswaldtwistle near the Co-op, that has been trimmed up for Christmas for over a week.

I know retailers like to remind us that we should be spending money by decorating their windows by early November, but this is ridiculous.

Are there any more houses near you already festooned with fairy lights, trees, and Santas?

I'm sorely tempted to play their game and post them a Happy Easter card through their door.

No I'm a traditionalist.

I decorate on Christmas Eve.

This year I'm using shrunken heads as my theme, so don't sit still to long Teabag or you just might find a sprig of holly sticking out of an orifice.

That's not very nice, people die in fires.

On a similar line, do be careful with candles this Christmas, they can do a lot of damage if you are not careful.

Life and Times of Oswaldtwistle is already playing 'Walking in a Winter Wonderland' and offering Season's Greetings to visitors to the website.

Making silly jokes when children die in fires every Christmas isn't funny.

I'd deduct karma from you, but that would be childish.

well the earlier they put up christmas decorations the more chance their is of having a christmas fire so the answer is dont be an idiot and leave christmas to christmas time therefore making the period that christmas decoration are up shorter and reducing the risk

I wasn't trying to be funny. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks electrical fires aren't a good way to show people they are decorating too early.
