I can't help thinkng that I seem to have tried selling stuff like the stuff people sell on these car booty type TV programs but nobody ever wants to pay me £20 for an ugly little leprechun.

Where do they find these buyers?

From the indication I get by talking to people who own businesses in the Accrington area people just don't have the money here, or they don't want to spend it. I would suggest you try and look further a field, there are outlets and people with lots of money out there to spend - believe me I know.

P.S from personal experience I have recently listed (in the Buy, Sell n Swap category on accyweb a Brand New - External Pioneer DVD Writer
top of the range at a price that is about £20 cheaper than you can buy them on ebay. And yet, nobody here (Locally) is interested but they sell thousands on the ebay site?

I've not had much luck on eBay either lately. It's been quite dead. Either that or I'm selling the wrong kind of junk!

What you have to remember at this time of year is that alot of people have just had to buy new uniforms and equipment for the new school term and then others are saving/spending money for christmas.

That little double your money Leprechaun, was a fix, and it cetainly wasn't Meissen, as the old boy who bought it said, and certainly wasn't worth the sixty quid he said it was worth.

By the way I don't watch Car Boot Challenge regularly, I was waiting for the bath to fill up.

I looked at that writer but I'm in the same situation as i was with other things I showed an interest in, I hardly ever come up to accy these days,friday was the first time in over six months. Might be up to see my lady friend soon but dunno, women are so unpredictable.
