For Safety's Sake

May I suggest that the next time your car insurance is up for re-payment that you change to the R.A.C. not because I think it to be a better company but, because if your car tax is displayed in one of their holders you will be safe in the knowledge that you won't be distracted from the task of over-taking a large lorry by a desperate salesman who's boots are on fire!

What a stupid advert, what a stupid advertising agency, what a stupid motoring club that would think distracting a driver in this way is good for their image!

Yes I know it's pretend, but who could think that this and it's sister advert,
Quote:
Don't touch the boot, SIR!
could convince any of us that they are thoughtful and careful in any way?

Re: For Safety's Sake

I found some excellent value quotes in the observer a week or two ago so long as you have the following criteria:

No License
No Tax
No Insurance

Price for cover: £250 / a day before the bench - Utter Bargain!!!!
