Forensic Investigator

Just heard a little on BBC2 re: this guy posing as per thread title and that he had given his 'findings' in court in 100's of cases. Got away with it 'cause of the orange jacket he used'. Must be very clever bloke, and people not checking his authenticity!!

Didn't get chance to listen to it .. so would love to know if the evidence he gave would be inadmissable, and the defendents, who are now in prison, will have their cases reviewed.

Jambutty ... know you listen to Jeremy Vine, can you fill me in ? Anybody ?
Also, the subject covered the lying that goes on on C.V's and nobody checking.

Re: Forensic Investigator

I think it said on the news that all the cases he gave evidence in would have to be re-opened.

Re: Forensic Investigator

Wow, thanks for that S & G ... what a twisted but clever mind to set all that up. Has been cases of people posing as doctors too ..how do they sustain this image ? .. dangerous, not applauding it, but how can authorities be so gullible to be taken in by such long term lies.

The money now that will have to be spent sorting out all these cases that he was witness to !!.. now is the time to spend more money on checking people's credentials. There are companies now that check references .. probably worth the payment.

Re: Forensic Investigator

Its not that long ago when someone posed as a doctor in Preston, got away with it for quite a while too, how frightening.
This geeser was obviously very confident, hopefully he'll have to re-pay a lot of the monies he received, what a waste of tax payers money.

Re: Forensic Investigator

That's just insane - I bet it's not the only place you can buy one from either. You can buy anything these days. Surely someone should clamp down on these scams.
