Four more Terrorists retun home.
THE final four Britons being held by the US authorities in Guantanamo Bay are to be released, the Foreign Secretary said this afternoon. They will return to the UK within the next few weeks, Jack Straw told the House of Commons. The move follows months of talks between the British and American governments. The men, who have been held for three years on suspicion of links with terrorism, will be quizzed by British police when they land in the UK. A decision will then be taken on whether they should be released or remain in custody here under the Terrorism Act.The four are Moazzam Begg from Birmingham, Feroz Abbasi, from Croydon, south London, Martin Mubanga, from Wembley, north west London and Richard Belmar, from St John's Wood, north west London.Three other British prisoners were released from Camp Delta in Cuba last March.Since they returned to the UK they have claimed they were tortured and mistreated at the US prison camp.
Azmat Begg spoke on GMTV of the prospects of his son's release: "First thing, I would like him to be medically and mentally examined. And if he has got charges against him, he should stand trial."
Of course being in Afganistan and firing at American and British soldiers is Ok.......no charges for that.
he should be medically and mentally examined, then thrown out of the country will it happen? more chance of council tax going down.
