Free CDs
What does everybody think of the free cds you get in weekend papers, I've got an house full of them and I never play them, I dont know why I dont just put them in the bin, though I never seem to do that, does anyone out there want them or any suggestione who to pass them onto?

Re: Free CDs
I'm fascinated by the often additional "bonus tracks" by people no-one has ever heard of, nor, judging by the music, is ever likely to hear of again.
We use them as coasters.
I have actually saved a few just for a laugh.

Re: Free CDs
Thats not a bad idea Willow and Chav, does anyone actually play them? I didn't know whether a charity shop would be glad of them or whether they'd consider them junk as well.

Re: Free CDs
Well considering we couldn't GIVE them away on a car boot sale I don't think a charity shop would be overly chuffed.

Re: Free CDs
They may just have to be binned after all, though I could put them all in a cosmetic bag and give it as a naff raff prize at the next Accy web meet!

Re: Free CDs
I use them as coasters too. I also hung some around my soft fruit bushes to keep the birds away - it worked. About 100 of the things have gone in my bin this year and I've kept about 3 to actually play.

Re: Free CDs
They are usually the same old tracks.........hubby puts them in the car to play in there.
I took a load out to my niece in Oz.......she takes them with her in her player when she goes on power walks......but if it were up to me I'd just junk the things.

Re: Free CDs
We got that one as well! I don't tend to purchase papers, but we got the Express this weekend as it looked quite good from the adverts.
Now I'm not so sure...
