I did not read the article other than to see that HH condemns him because he doesn't change nappies...but then neither does his wife...this couple (who support their children) have a nanny.
It is not like he left the mother of his six children to bring them up on her own....it isn't like he spends all his money on beer fags and the geegees.
She wants to look at the deadbeat dads her party created by giving teen mothers accommodation just because they got pregnant...and then expecting us to cough up so that they can live on the state.
She has some neck this woman.

Yes, it matters not one jot to the electorate...and if she had any sense at all I think she would realise that her jibe is just a cheap shot...a soundbite.
Labour were good on sound bites but low on powers of listening and acting on the concerns of their supporters.

I don't know about anyone else, but if it actually became law, it would make me most reluctant to vote for a female candidate if there was a male alternative.
I want an M.P. to represent me for all the time they are in power not take half a year away from their duties.

Harold Wilson reckoned a week is a long time in politics, what use is someone that takes 24 weeks off from such a changeable scene to anyone?

i could not care a jot if the candidate was male or female. its the situation of some areas that want a female candidate only and is open to females only to apply. do not agree with the six months off issue but by the look of the number of MP,s that are actually in the commons at times i think some of the men have taken six months off too.

Although a step in the right direction to my mind, the bigger issue is with postal votes I would assume.

This is going to be trialled in the following areas for local elections next May.
Woking, Gosport, Watfod, Bromley and Slough.
There is a report that many Labour run councils refused to participate in the trials.
