I have seen several tapes of him on youtube showing him tearing strips off US Senate committee -full video film of his evidence - have not formed an opinion of the man other than he knows how to defend himself!

I'll admit he was great there. An impressive performance...then he dressed up in a leotard, and pretended to be a cat, on Celebrity Big Brother, and blew any credibility.

I agree he made a fool of himself in public - better that, than to be a fool in private and be found out later as many politicians have done

Mr. Galloway may have the gift of the gab but he seems like a very unsavory character to me. Nor is he out of the woods in the matter of the Oil for Food scandal either. The reporter Christopher Hitchens has written extensively about this.

Mr. Galloway may be popular in some circles but his politics and personal behavior are far removed from anything I would be willing to vote for.
