gone too soon

i have come across a website for the loved ones in our lives that have passed away.

it is called
gonetoosoon.co.uk

you can search the site to see if any body has made a page dedicated to a loved one that you know or you can create a website for a loved one that has passed away.

This as been mentioned before, I know some people may get comfort from it but I find looking at sites like this a bit sick and upsetting.

It's a nicer idea than leaving flowers on roadsides anyway. I do find that depressing. I personally just prefer eventually to remember people as they were as part of my life and with happy memories. I can see how a site like this could be a comfort though, especially in the early days when you feel so lost and helpless and having somewhere to say something does help. I know, I've been there.

It might stop people tattooing poems on their back, dedicated to loved ones who have passed away. Then again, it might not.

Not my sort of thing, but if it comforts some people, so be it.
