corrie and emmerdale are the only two soaps i realy watch ,,but i love them and feel that i know the characters personaly... i am not a balmy old woman just a little bit sentimental and naive....lol

Lol, that's one of the reasons I moved back to England.

For anyone who hasn't seen this BBC Scottish soap, which cost all of us all millions of pounds in licencing fees, it's dire rubbish, and makes Eastenders look like a laugh a minute Ealing comedy.

Crossroads was better even with dodgy sets. Corrie still has the right blend.

I also loved Payton place and would rush home from school when that was on.
Nothing ever to beat good old Corrie though.

nope... never watched sons and daughters ,and only an odd eppisode of sulivans,, never realy watched anyother soaps apart from brookside and the other prisoner with patrick mcgoogan ..oohh that was good.

Me and Slinky did too Granny, I'm still hoping they'll put re-runs on Sky but until then take a look at this site http://www.prisoner-cellblockh.co.uk/ it's even got that gorgeous theme tune on.


He used to give me roses,
I wish he could again,
but that was on the outside
and things were different then


I heard a little rumour on the grape vine that 'Cheeky Charlie' is to get a new love interest on Corrie who will most certainly give him a run for his money, anyone else know who it is?

oh thanks,,,, that has gone into my favourites ,,, oh the memouries ,looking at those faces
