Um appears the council, or is it the county council, have plenty of cash knocking about, sadly we'll never know due to the exile by our elected representatives

That's not fair, Jaysay, our Independent Councillor, Nick, is always responsive to any queries, complaints. Not on here, maybe, but real life.

In real life I had become to believe that councillors live in cloud cuckoo land

Well they certainly catch the eye, n if it is to prevent parking on grass etc, its a damn site cheaper than paying a warden,

Didn't think Traffic Wardens were allowed on Blackburn Road by law

Re: Grange Street, Clayton.
This is true Jaysay i think there is a little unknown bylaw that states traffic wardens can go on Blackburn Road from town to the Viaduct but cant go past the viaduct.
as you never see one on the other side.
i think it has something to do with distance they can walk they have to be within a mile of there office in case they need another brew.

Re: Grange Street, Clayton.
I think this tendancy to talk down clayton is a testosterone thing, it appears to be a male "mine is bigger than yours" attitude.
The people involved probably have not visited clayton since it was an urban district as they dont get out much.

Wrong was down yon today at the post office n then Lynwood Ave, so i had a sneck at Grange St. The laughing gave me hiccups. I have quite a few friends down yon so i liken it to a Red Cross visit.
