Great Harwood Town Hall found to be unsafe (From Lancashire Telegraph)

Interesting that they have only just decided that the front of Great Harwood Town Hall is dangerous and a threat to passers by.

I remember 20 years ago the Director having a contraption in his office to show the cracks appearing in the front wall, and the readings were startling.

The story didn't seem new to me as well.That's going to cost a few more quid. I am also a bit surprised that it wasn't in the original costing for the Town Hall.

You would have thought someone would have looked at the structure of the building wouldn't you.I've feeling that they'll find the money though.
