It as more apathy than anything, and a willingness to just take it! Again...and again and again!

Re: gypsy's....again
I think the situation at the moment involving Sudan is not making them look bad, they are only standing by their old traditional laws (if we ignore the issues of the potential corruption involed in the situation) where as our politicians are too afraid to do anything British for fear of annoying the immigrants.
People are commenting from abroad that we are stupid for allowing immigrants to have free roam in our country whilst our people are under threat whilst trying to help their native countries.
Can you imagine the uproar if a Sudanese national was under threat in this country for naming a teddy bear jesus? Not only would the Sudanese government be complaining, but the majority of the brits would be complaining?
Why? Because we have morals thats why. You dont bite the hand that feeds.

The problem people have with travellers (who mostly are nothing to do with gypsies at all) is the mess they make and leave behind them, the attitude they have that any land they fancy parking on is theirs for the taking and the lawless attitude of most of them which puts the fear of God into the rest of society.
IF they behaved within the law, treated other people with respect, camped on allocated approved sites and cleaned up after themselves I doubt anyone would even comment on their existence.

Re: gypsy's....again
Why can't they camp on approved sites? I would be a bit nervous walking to that health center with those caravans there, especially with there being so little else.
