Halliburtons

"Nigeria's anti-corruption police have raided the offices of the U.S. oilfield services group Halliburton and arrested 12 people in a bribery case involving the former Halliburton unit KBR Inc, a spokesman said on Saturday".
I seem to remember that the US VP, Dick Cheney was a senior executive of Haliburtons and aren't they the company that provided sub-standard concrete to the Gulf of Mexico oil spill earlier this year?

Re: Halliburtons

worked for them years ago when they were known as Brown and Root , a good company ...seem to remember Haliburton had a few 'defense' contracts in the mid east supplying ex military personal (mercenaries) for training the locals and such,in the use of American products... much like what British aviation companies did for many years in Saudi , and lets not forget Sultan Qabus and his 'British Tommies'
