Happy endings?

Just reading through another thread, about someone looking for a long lost relative, really made me think. We see appeals all the time here, but very often never get a conclusion.

We've had threads before about people seeking lost loved ones, some very moving. People have posted looking for jobs, or advice about their careers etc. We've had threads about people being bullied. All very interesting, and the majority of members here are keen to chip in with any helpful advice if they can.

What I want to know though is how does it end, as very often we never know? It would be wonderful to think Accy Web has helped make people's lives somehow better.

So come on, please post any happy endings that have resulted from a thead on here, be it you found your pussy, got the job of your dreams, or used the money you made from selling something to buy the purchase of your dreams.

Yes, know what you mean Garinda .. some have been posted, like a young man on here finally getting a job ... felt so pleased for him. There has been some sad ones though whereby we don't know the outcome .. one at the moment, would love to ask, but afraid of the answer .. so can only think the worst.

To be fair, you did say happy endings.

Re: Happy endings?

Gosh Garinda, would of hope you would have received alot more replies on this question. I've seen on an almost daily basis how Accyweb has been a help to many of us. Maybe it's the little things like a small bit of advice or some of the larger emotional/physical needs/issues that have brought comfort and/or guidance to many in the Accy family!

In just that, I have come to really appreciate Accyweb. And for just that, I am very grateful.

I have been taught so much about my English heritage from this site. Folks here help with my daughter and my trip to England last summer and even took the time to meet up with us at the Stag!

Things happen to me during the day sometimes funny, sometimes sad, or just something I can't wit to share! I have come to really appreciate the family many of you have become to me! yeah I know it sounds quite sappy but ya caught me on a "maskoff" night!

Finally, thanks for being there my friends (yeah, even the sometimes more grumpy ones)!

Brian

Re: Happy endings?

Wouldnt exactly call it a happy ending G but can certainly say that without support and comforting words from certain accywebbers(they know who they are) having my dog put down a few weeks back, knowing there were people here who i could talk too and who had gone through the same thing certainly made it a bit easier to cope with .

So although not a happy ending accyweb certainly made it easier to cope with

Same here cherokee people on here made it seem easier for me as well. If i wanted to scream or shout they were here. When i went off on one in the chatroom they asked what was wrong or if i went quiet they asked.
