Re: Harry Potter
The queue was still huge the full length of the store then folding back on itself.
My GF got hers because we waited a few people from the front at 10:30 (yay )
I knew the plot a few days ago, been itching to tell her hehe

Re: Harry Potter
I take it not much of a queue at The Works then? I had thought of going there but Busman thought ASDA was better because there you could queue inside.

Re: Harry Potter
I wonder how many people will buy it and never read it? They just got caught up in the hysteria of it all.

Re: Harry Potter
Wonder if the Samaritans are on high alert for the grown up readers too!!
Childline is preparing for a deluge of calls from Harry Potter fans after the final book in the series goes on sale.
The phone counselling service has asked its volunteers to work extra shifts with the death of a key character expected to cause a surge in demand.
Childline's Kate Tench said Harry Potter had become a "major part" of the childhood of many children.
Meanwhile, author JK Rowling has hit out at US newspapers which revealed plot details.
Ms Tench said: "Death and loss of any kind can make children feel upset, angry and afraid. "The story could bring back unhappy memories for children who have lost friends, relatives or pets."

Re: Harry Potter
Means very little to me. Never read one of the books and only seen the first film, which was nothing special.
