Re: Haunted houses/places local
Aye, but seriously, did you know that a spirit can travel from one place to another within a thought. Just have a peek under the stairs before you go to bed and if its not under there it will be behind you………..

Re: Haunted houses/places local
I too remember the cinemas ghost. I felt it a numer of times. Usually around screen 1. To this day I still believe it pushed me off the third step as there was no one near me at the time. I used to stride over it after that & so did my mates.

Re: Haunted houses/places local
Finally, Sue Brown, manager at Hyndbrook House sheltered accommodation in Dale Street, Accrington, claims residents often see a spectre of a man dressed in a brown suit. She said: “He isn’t malevolent, he seems friendly. It is quite spooky, but it sounds like you catch him in the corner of your eye and then he’s gone. The residents call him Albert.”(quote from accymel)
i know its an old thread but i did a quick search of hyndbrook house n found this....I worked there for over 2 years and i used to do night shifts and allsorts, dealt with clients dying too but never saw anything.i used to have to walk around at night on my own and the only scary thing i ever saw was my reflection on a monday morning!

Perhaps Albert had finally passed over when you worked there?
