Re: Have these people no shame
Don't think there's much lower to go than cretins like those.
I think some jobs should not be classed as jobs.

Thatcherism at work.
Suprised the Tories aren't applauding this free market entrepreneurship.
Just following Tebbit's advice.

Yes it's bad, but what else can Post University students do?
It's not as if they are qualified in something, is it?

By better, you mean one in which I agreed with you?
I'm happy with my post, thank you.
It sums up the situation quite well I think.

That might make a modicum of sense, if I'd posted I thought it was a good thing.
What I said was that this is an example of Thatcherism, and what happens in a free market economy.
More likely to come back and bite the arse of those who voted for a party, whose policy decisions made this economic situation come about.

Re: Have these people no shame
From the article...
'The introduction of no-win no-fee legislation in 1995 and the reduction in legal aid allowed for personal injury claims has led to the growth of these companies.'
From the comments section...
'I had occasion to be in casualty quite recently with a relative and on the back of the fracture clinic appointment card was an advert 'have you been injured - not your fault' blah blah. so hospitals are generating revenue from them too.'
Smacks of hypocrisy.

Re: Have these people no shame
I wonder if any Insurance salesmen have thought about trying to sell life insurance to those who've just had a near miss car accident...

Re: Have these people no shame
It seems insurance companies have got used to the idea, somebody who had a non fault accident recently was taken to hospital because she was expecting, even though it was a minor rear end shunt and she felt ok, her insurance company have filed an injury claim right away because she attended hospital, even if she doesnt suffer or need to return to hospital it seems she will get a couple of thousand! Ridiculous!!
