Re: HBC leader in frock shock!
So, Peter "I'm worth every penny" Britcliffe, is attempting to use the limited amount of clout he has at his disposal to line his own pocket at the expense of the taxpayer? And we are expressing not shock, horror and outrage, but mild amusement?
I cannot say that the antics of the Idiot-in-Chief come as anything of a surprise. Anyone who can consistently mislead the electorate in the way Britcliffe has done over the last few years is capable of anything. It strikes me that far from heaping criticism on Gayle and Graham, we should be directing our invective against the single biggest cause of Hyndburns woes; Councillor Peter Britcliffe, who, if memory serves, is compelled to stand for re-election next week. If I were a voter in St. Andrews' ward, I know where my vote would not be going.
It is high time that Britcliffe and all his shabby fellow travellers were shown the door, they are a disgrace to the party that they claim to represent and an affront to the people who elected them.

Not unless he talks about himself in the third person, as he tells us in another thread that 'Britcliffe is on to it', regarding the blue and white carabuncle on Broadway.

He might take more of an active part here, after the election results are announced.

I hear that Labour are partial to a back hander or two, its surprising just what you can get with a swift pound or two in the back sack.

Or around the waistline. Been on a sugar free diet recently to lose a few pounds. Thought about taking up cycling and I have asked the wife if she'll drive behind me with all my gear in the car!
