They used our legal aid system to pay for their services.
The Government agreed to hold the men until they were confident the prisoners would receive fair treatment.
Now the same group of lawyers, still being paid for by our legal aid, is putting up a case that the men are being illegally held by us and may sue.
How come a suspected terrorist in Afganistan can get legal aid in the UK when most UK citizens can't?
How come UK lawyers are representing them? Gravy train?
Hand them all over immediately to the Afgan Army and Police- problem solved.
Oh, but what about their Human Rights? These disgraceful lawyers will sue us for that then.
I know this country's mad but I didn't know we were that mad.
My solution- let them come here as asylum seekers. Seems fair. If you're going mad you might as well go all the way.

Well we did have a Prime Minister who said the finest thing he had done in politics was to sign the European Human Rights Act, I don't have a problem with Human Rights, its the abuse of the system that gets right up my nose, but we have to remember that the PM who signed it did have a Wife who is a Human Rights Lawyer, which meant she and her friends in "Chambers" had plenty of work for the rest of their lives and being a lawyer himself its not beyond the realms of possibility that he won't be filling his own boots in the future
