Heathrow Airport

The latest in the you can't make it up series comes from Heathrow Airport. It appears that the people who work at the Airport are not allowed to wear a crucifix around their necks, yet muslims are still allowed to wear veils. Just where is it all going to end, is it any wonder that the indigenous population are becoming more and restless with whats going on in their own country. What makes it more idiotic is that if you actualy ask people from other faiths if they are offended by some one wearing a crucifix, nine times out of ten they will say not at all. why done these bureaucrats just do the jobs they are paid to do and cut out the P. C. fascism, then maybe every one can get on with their own lives with far less trouble.

Re: Heathrow Airport

I think everyone should be made to go to work naked so the colours we wear dont offend any passing gang members.

Re: Heathrow Airport

Apparently as part of the Uniform policy they have a 'No jewellery rule' and BA say that this is the policy that was being enforced and it had nothing to do with the fact that it was a crucifix.....the lady in question was given the opportunity to put it under her uniform, but failed to comply. I think the media is to blame for stirring up racial/religious offence.

Then people would object to the colour of your skin.

You just can't win with morons.

But in the same breath they say they can't prevent Sikhs from wearing their religious symbols and other religions their bangles, etc. So where is the logic?

Re: Heathrow Airport

They can be asked to wear them under their clothes...and this is what this lady was asked to do.
