Here's an interesting thing

I draw your attention to the fact that Hyndburn isn't in the list of districts involved in the project. There is mention that Hyndburn and Pendle already have their own forums!

Re: Here's an interesting thing

The site mentioned in the blurb as being already completed is the Hyndburnlite site.

Question Re: Here's an interesting thing

How's about we all e-mail this gent, [email protected].
He is the editor of the front page in the link. Maybe we should all extoll the virtues and friendliness of our site, and request that he adds our Accringtonweb.com address to his links directory.

Re: Here's an interesting thing

Very interesting, may be HBC were edging their bets when the whole thing was first started "BIG BROTHER" an all that.

But what is also very interesting is the link thats not there, check this quote
The websites - (www.pendlelife.co.uk and www.hyndburnlife.co.uk) aim to provide a central focus for the provision of electronic information and services for both the councils and their local partner organisations. They will be interactive and transactional gateways through which residents, businesses and visitors can access services such as:
Think the bit thats missing is pay council tax
Note - There is no link to or from HBC "official site", but thats local gov. for you.
Run out of funds
