He's a very nice man!
If Father Christmas wasn't the nice kind man that he is but was a rather spoilt sort of celebrity.
Instead of packing and delivering all those presents himself he would:- Force all the parents of young children to buy and wrap the presents, then they would have to stay up very late on Christmas Eve to put them under the tree. But he would insist on taking the credit for it!
