Hollands pies in Spain

I have today bought Hollands - Meat Pies - Puddings - Pasties - Potato Pies in Spain.
Frozen but something I recognise.
The meat pies have suffered a 60% reduction in size since I were a lad as with the rest of the products but I must say congrats to the marketing people in Bash.
Not keen on puff pastry on the pasties.
Meat in the meat pies would fit on a tanner (Six old pence).
Flying the flag for Lancashire can't be bad?

Hello,
I have just read that you have bought Hollands pies in Spain. Do you live out there? If so, you must really like them!

Anyone remeber the song about Holland's: it began "Holland's they make the best meat pies/Holland's they make your kidney's rise" or something like that. Sung to the tune of Colonel Bogey by the way?

Amusing that you can get them in Spain but a mate who lives in Nottingham can't get steal puds down there, I end up taking them into work for him to take home.

Holland's Pies are not what they were in years gone by. Personally, I prefer Greenhalgh's these days - their beef steak pies are top notch. Wonder if Lilly Mae's serves 'em?
