Re: Horse Meat in Tesco and Iceland

It'll be a race against time to find out who's responsable.
Tescos sales figures will be riding on the result but we mustn't jump to conclusions.

I can't see a real problem with eating horse meat so long as that's what it says, I hate it when I should be eating what is called a 7 to 4 favourite that struggles to come in last, even on the replay!

I'll be glad when the finishing line is in sight.

BBC News - Why do British people have such a revulsion over horsemeat?

You can't blame Dalepak for trying to improve their stuff by putting meat in it. Normally tastes like horse waste

Well I don't really like beef burgers, because the last time I had them I ended up with the gallops

My dad said he was that hungry that he could eat at horse. "Were fresh out of burgers" came the reply from the kitchen. Then my niece piped up and said "you can eat my ldl pony if you like"

That explains why the cockneys call it a 'pony and trap'.

Interesting that the overwhelming reaction from the public has not been outrage, but a rush to think of the corniest horse joke.

Sky News said this morning that for every tweet they got complaining about horse meat in burgers, they got 100 tweets with horse jokes.

Must say something about the British state of mind.

how much is the price difference between horse meat and beef? We'll probably become more outraged if it turns out we've been ripped off.

Re: Horse Meat in Tesco and Iceland

Beside the horsemeat problem I wonder what the reaction in the Jewish and Muslim communities has been on finding they were eating pig. If they eat this Tesco Value rubbish, that is.
