Re: Horse Meat in Tesco and Iceland
Nicest meat I ever had in Foshan, China was mouse casserole. 2 k gs went into the pot !
Dog? well not to my liking too salty, maybe it was the monosodium glutamate? Now theres one..food additives doesn't bear thinking about.

Loving all the puns on here :-)
Just a thought but.... for the people who do complain, maybe it's time for them to start cooking for themselves again instead of buying ready meals. At least that way, you know what you're eating.

Come to think of it, if you shoot your own you can always be sure of having a nice round steak

Genuine question...is there anyway to tell just by looking that your local butcher is selling beef mince as opposed to horse mince or even soylent green?

No but I'll go with Eric's suggestion of shooting it myself
Personally, I don't know what the horsemeat fuss is about. I don't eat ready meals or burgers but I do like meat. I have had horsemeat, kangaroo, crocodile and lots of our traditional meats and offals. To be honest, this has been an opportunity to make jokes about something other than celebrity paedophiles. Therefore, I am watching with interest what they'll find next
