Hotel Pillows
I was in one of the shops in the arcade today and noticed they sell pillows with a sign on them saying 'Hotel Quality Pillows' . Does that mean they are crap cos most of the hotels I've stayed in the pillows are terrible

Re: Hotel Pillows
It's not exactly going to encourage me to buy them either. I wonder what quality we are supposed to assume hotel pillows have? They can't be implying they are more durable can they? I mean everybody's pillows get slept on don't they?

Re: Hotel Pillows
Perhaps they come scattered with flower petals, and a little chocolate wrapped up in a ribbon?
Ok, you now know what sort of hotels I like to stay in.

Re: Hotel Pillows
dont see the relavance myself, most hotels i have stayed in - in this country at least, have never noticed a differance in pillow quality as against home quality.though the hotels in the states and on liners are far superior.

Re: Hotel Pillows
Some of the hotels I've stayed in have had some very grim pillows.

Re: Hotel Pillows
Never stayed in a hotel with "dodgy" linen though no doubt it happens. Even the BnB's I have stayed in have been clean and white. I would be somewhat upset if I stayed at a hotel or BnB with dirty linen.

Re: Hotel Pillows
I don't mean they were dirty just not very comfortable. They're either hard as rocks or so squishy they go totally flat as soon as you put your head on them. The worst ones I've ever endured were in the Hilton at Manchester airport. They may as well have been filled with candy floss.

Re: Hotel Pillows
You should have seen one place we stayed in Bedfordshire! The Sally Army would have been a marked improvement! Needless to say to was not an informed choice and we won't be paying a return visit.

Re: Hotel Pillows
Never stayed in any other hotel other than a 4 star so I suppose fresh clean linen is normal and daily. As for BnB they are small family businesses so appearence and cleanliness is paramount.

Re: Hotel Pillows
Hotel quality means - one on its own is not enough but use 2 and you wake up with a stiff neck.
