Re: How many times have you watched Dirty Dancing
To Sir with Love with Lulu and Sidney Pottier is a good one I don't mind seeing again. You can't beat a good classic movie....[/quote]
Sidney Poitier - a fine actor. I have watched "The Heat of The Night" also starring Rod Steiger, another good and under-rated actor, many times.
I'm not into Patrick Sawyze at all but one film of that genre I do like is "Grease", with The Lovely John Travolta. Now, I like him - or I did when he was that age anyway - and the music's good, and it's set in my era - the 50s.

Re: How many times have you watched Dirty Dancing
Has anyone ever watched a film called 'Dancing through the dark'??
It's about a woman that goes on her hen night, then ends up falling in love with this fella, I think he was the singer, and ends up not getting married, but going off with the singer??
Sounds crap when I'm telling it, but it's a good film and i remember watching it when i was about 14 years old and never saw it ever again!!

Re: How many times have you watched Dirty Dancing
West Ender. Glen Miller, Elvis, Whistle Down the Wind, and now To Sir With Love.
I adore that film. I love the title track. I love Lulu, and I was soooo in love with Judy Geeson. Sidney Poitier was brilliant as the teacher that touched his pupil's lives.
We share so many similar tastes do you think we may be related?

Re: How many times have you watched Dirty Dancing
Oh, your selling it, of course I should have known. That red light would normally have given it away!
It is a long time since I paid for it.
Can anyone inform me as to the going rates these days?

I have the "To Sir With Love" track on an audio file if you want a copy, £35 quid should cover it.

Thanks but I already have Lulu chained up in the pantry trilling away.
You could hire her off me for only thirty quid.

Re: How many times have you watched Dirty Dancing
I have to admit I like a good old British Classic Black and White film, be it an knock about funny or a good tear jerker either way all to often it results in tears rolling down the cheeks.
