how was ur bonfire night?

i spent mine workin till 12 am and then when i came home i had some junk i wanted to burn but no one dragged down to the fire so i dragged it myself and at 2am restarted the fire and stood there enjoyin my own personal bonfire *L*

went down today and someone's thrown some more carpets and some sofa's on there and i need to throw away a showpiece cabinet too so i might have to restart it again!

time to get the lighter fluid out!!

Re: how was ur bonfire night?

I worked from 8.45pm until 8.15 am this morning, so I missed the lot and am doing the same tonight. I left the dog absolutely howling in distress at the banging and felt guilty about going to work and leaving her but quite honestly the incessant barking and howling was driving me mad. It will probably be the same tonight.

Could you define ''showpiece cabinet'' please mani before you decide to set fire to it? or is it too late?

We were going to go to the Cricket Club tonight but the weather put us off. Did anybody go?

Mik, when I was in Germany it seemed to be all bangers around New Years Eve. Is it still as bad?

Re: how was ur bonfire night?

Aye all bangers and rockets. One year a drunken American let off a rocket that flew past my eldests head and he laughed because she cried and yelled so much.He was not laughing after he pulled himself off the floor. Some people are so irresponsible when the have drink in them

Yep,
It was quite busy(as usual), the fireworks were nice but low cloud meant that some of the high altitude ones lost some of their impact as you could only just see them.

There was also one prat who thgought that the queue for ale in the clubhouse wasn't for him and just pushed to the front. Even when told he wouldn't get served he just stood there givivng agro. Life really does throw out some losers doesn't it.
