How would you find out who ownes a piece of land?

As title, I am curious to find who ownes/is responsible for a field.

The field is located next to sandy lane college. Imagine you are on the old running track (In front of the motor vehicle part) facing away from the college and it would be to your left?

You could also access this field from near St Annes school at one time.

As this link (Old ish google maps)
bb5 - Google Maps

TIA

HA no but I know where you are coming from, had to herd them back up the path many times.

They cannot get on the field anymore as there is a big fence, infact you cant fget on the field anymore, there used to be a sty over the fence but that now covered with barbwire.

I wanted to ask the owner WHY, or at least see if it was done by the owner.

Its a good field to walk on, good for kids to play on, get them off the street.ect.

Some pics

If you want to find out who owns the land, throw a big wild and wooly party on it ... the owner will probably show up loaded for bear ... and you can introduce yourself and ask him his name, preferably before he shoots.

You'd need the postal code though.

You may also want to check with the local council offices maps for public footpaths etc.
If that style has been in use for 20 year then there may be a right of way over it.

If you have any friends who have caravans, ask them all to park them in the field.

Scatter rubbish, especially old tyres, and let some vicous looking dogs roam the field.

I'm sure the owner will make themself known very soon.

You couldnt get a caravan on there or they would probably already be on.

Damn ... forgot that you guys (well, apart from the criminals) don't usually own firearms .... maybe the owner will come along with a baseball bat, or a baby seal club (probably not too many of these around either).
