Huncoat

Does anyone know if there are any photos anywhere of Ormerod Row, where my dad was born or the cottages that were in what is now the car park of the Black Bull pub where my Great Grandfather lived.He was once ladlord of that pub too.

Have you contacted the Hyndburn Local History Society to see what's contained in their publication entitled: "Huncoat: the changing village"?

A chap I used to work with knows a lot about Huncoat.
Roy's information site on Huncoat, History, Walking and Weather etc.

I see on facebook that the photographer Garth Dawson, of Bridge Street, Accrington, has a collection of old photos, which he advertised in 2013:-

"We have a large selection of photographs of 'Old Accrington' dating from 1880 to 1957. Available in lots of sizes, they start from just £23 for a framed 10"x 8" and make an ideal gift for family and friends. Come to the studio to view the full catalogue ."
