Makes you wonder how many more there could have been that were calibrated wrong and gone unchallenged.

It seems to me that the technology to stop all these fine’s is readily available. If the Government so wished they could regulate our speed by having some sort of chip embedded in every other speed sign and have the car manufacturers insert some kind of gadgetry into the vehicle to read the speed sign and at a fairly low cost to the consumer. I.e. if in a 30 m.p.h. zone then the car will not be able to increase speed until in a new zone. Perhaps they just want “fast cash” by way of fines, public safety being a side issue.
If we could not break any speed limits, then surely our Insurance premiums would fall….I doubt it.
