Wasn't it Ernie Webster, the plumber? We all went to the same church.

AV isn't Google Page Ranking.

I voted NO to change.

I don't like our current first past the post system.

However, I can see no positives in the AV.

It would still mean many peoples' votes don't count.

But their third choice vote just might.

I wonder if the plan to film it's going ahead, as was discussed?

You going Shill?

You can be our Peter Snow, keeping us informed.

Just got back in, ready for a wash and brush up.

Camera loaded and on standby, watch this space.

Turnout predictably not as high as last year.

Since it's turned chiller, you might get a glimpse of muff.

Good luck, one and all.

The turn out for a local election seems quite high. The referendum vote may have helped.

Shame you weren't able to use the polling station at Haworth Art Gallery

Quote:
Three people voted in the back of a car after the keyholder to a Lancashire polling station was late to arrive.
Local election officers at Haworth Art Gallery in Accrington placed the ballot box in the open boot of the car outside the venue on Thursday morning.
The returning officer for Hyndburn Borough Council, Jane Ellis, said it was a pre-arranged back-up plan in case of any emergencies.
The gallery was opened a short time later.
One of the voters affected, June Leeming, said: "They approached me and said 'are you coming to vote?'. I said well yes, they said we're not open yet but don't worry you don't need to go away.
"So they took my details and passed over two slips to vote with, and said right, you can get into your private little voting kiosk now, and I had to clamber into the back of the car to mark my card, as it were."
