Go out of the door to the carpark and turn right. I never have any problem finding a bog in Accy or anywhere else, as i just go into the nearest pub.
Sometimes I don't even stop for a drink.

It's through people like you that our pubs are all closing. Going in,using the loo and NOT having a pint! That way lies dehydration!

Re: Hyndburn's New Tourist Attraction
It's just too tempting not to have a pint

...if you want risk arrest, maybe, but if you turn right again, there's a bogs there. A warning...they make Manchester Arndale's look salubrious by comparison!

Re: Hyndburn's New Tourist Attraction
Bloody hell!
You learn something new every day. I've never been in the Arndale Carpark, not even for a pee.
Mind you, I once got trapped with my foot down the bog of the Black Bull, as I was trying to escape from a police raid for underage drinkers, circa 1970. Does that count? It's roughly on the site of the Arndale.

Well, I had to get to level 2 to get out the back window; unfortunately my foot slipped on the bog seat and got stuck in the U bend. Good job there were no turds in there (or at least I don't think there were).

Don't you remember the story?
It wasn't a listed building, but when the full plans for the Arndale were made public, people realised the pub (then empty) was under threat. Listed Protection was applied for, but that was on a friday. That weekend, the bulldozers moved in, so by monday - when the decision was to be made - there was nothing but rubble. That was about 1985 or so.
It's a similar trick out traveller friends now use in setting up sites without planning permission.

Let me know when you're in hospital. After today's report on standards of NHS elderly care, you're going to need all the help you get. Mind you, I won't help with the bedpan - Garinda can do that.
