I’ve been listening to Dolly Partons Christmas Album (Oh God Help Me)

So what are your favourite Christmas/Winter songs, Carols or Hymns? What’s your top Six?

Me? In no particular order…..But the1st

Fairytale of New York - the Pogues (All time Favourite)

In the Mid Bleak Winter - (School Favourite)

Little Drummer Boy - Bing Crosby or Dolly Parton

Blue Christmas - Elvis Presley

White Christmas - Bing Crosby

Silent Night.

Lordy, lordy, you've never been the same since you went to Dolly Wood to meet her.

(Favourite Christmas record is Elvis's Blue Christmas album.)

White Christmas - Bing Crosby
Silent Night - Bing Crosby
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
O Come All Ye Faithful
O little Town of Bethlehem
i cant name any more because i like all christmas songs/hymns.

My favourite album was my mums - A Christmas sing with Bing around the world. It was choirs singing all over the world and some of bing crosby singing as well. She had it for years and its scratched but just about playable if you have a record player! lol

nowt to be ashamed of listening to Dolly Parton , in my view one of the best all round entertainers going , plus shes comes across as a nice person , no scandal , no dirt , just a good ole girl .........with a great talent .
Much better than the crap they were playing in my local shopping mall Barbra Strieslands Christmas album
