Let's be honest, we all feel let down, be it Graham with his U turn on a referendum, or our glorious, 'we'll make a difference', bits of bullshine from certain Councillors, THEY DID WHAT? THEY VOTED US IN FAVOUR OF INTERNATIONAL BULL THAT'S WHAT!
I can't wait for our smart arse Councillor to come on and explain this one away, before election time couldn't get rid of him, now obviously he just doesn't care less.

Thats exactly the reason the big 3 will never change, i agree they are likely a one trick pony, but anyone wi a grain of common knows they will never get in,but if enough happen to vote fer em, it may well compel one of the main parties to change tack, but lets carry on the way things are n nowt will change, sometimes mate i think i credit yeh wi more sense than yeh got.

I did say that is what would happen well before the election, being a critic is easy, explaining your actions takes bottle, seems they haven't got any

No you didn't, if you had mentioned that Graham would do a U turn or that the whole of the Council would support some backward regime, I think I would have remembered.

Let's be honest, the chance of any political party going from no sitting MPs to enough to form a government in one election is about as likely as Stanley getting in the premier league.
The who point of voting for UKIP is as a PROTEST vote. If they got a big enough vote, it would put the wind up the big two and make them realise they can't take us for granted and they've got to listen to our views on the EU.

Re: If there was a snap election tomorrow
They should be listening to all the views of the electorate, not just the ones on the mess that is the EU. Bloody Hell(pardon the expletive) isn't that what they are elected to do...and isn't that why they get a very fine salary?
We, the electorate are treated like children...like we cannot put two rational thoughts together...like we are not capable of making decicions. Good God almighty, we all make decisions every single day....just remember that the next time one of these half assed political party's come asking for your vote.
A right shower of sh...fisons

Seeing as they're the ones who probably voted for him, I should imagine there are slightly more disillusined ex-Labour supporters, than there are from other parties.
People like myself, and talking to other folk there are many more like me, who were angered by Graham Jones putting the party's interests, before the rights and interests of the constituents he was elected to represent, and who witnessed him voting to deny them their right to decide the future destiny of this nation.
All this despite weeks earlier, publicly saying that he had no problem with an E.U. referendum, and in his words, stating that it would settle the issue 'democratically'.
If there wasn't going to be a UKIP candidate, which I'm assured there will be, I would still find a way to use my vote to protest against those who actively deny me my democratic right to have a say in my own future, and the future of a country I think is being attacked and damaged, by it's continued membership of the European Union.
As things stand, the only way I can use my vote constructively, and to have my opinions counted, leaves me with no other choice, but to give my support, and vote to UKIP.

Re: If there was a snap election tomorrow
I'm not convinced I can be bothered putting in the effort to vote anymore. No wonder the British people fail to turn out in numbers.
Locally I actually felt we were going to get some real change at the last elections. What a let down

You took an action of protest, because you were angered, at the last General Election.
This is no different.
If UKIP got a credible local candidate to stand, there'd be even more support, I reckon.
People are thoroughly sick and fed up with all the lies, hypocrisy, and sleaze, we've put up with from all three of other parties.

Re: If there was a snap election tomorrow
Isn't Turkey due to become a member. How can Turkey be in Europe?
Isn't Turkey the gateway to Asia.....anyway they may change their minds now they have seen how things are managed in Europe.
