if you fly from blackpool airport
add an extra £10 per adult (16 and over) onto your price for the airport development fee Blackpool International - Airport Facilities - UK and European destinations with both charter and scheduled flights. you cant get throught the gate without one, its free for children but they have to have a ticket as well, theres machines on the wall
no one tells you when you book and its a bit of a pain if you have already had your money changed
nice little airport tho

No i hav'nt used it yet, i've driven past a few times recently though, i suppose it depends how many cars are on does it, and how close you can park to the Terminal Entrance? I'll be arriving early morning, but with this offer i suppose a lot will take it up and will perhaps be a lot on the car park!

Re: if you fly from blackpool airport
there was a lot of cars and people had abandoned them all over the place, parkings not that far away but if its possible to get a lift there and back i would, just in case because theres nowt you can do if you get there and theres no spaces... it looked like a few cars had been there a while as well.

Re: if you fly from blackpool airport
I emailed Blackpool Airport earlier about the Parking problems after reading your post and also having read some posts about parking difficulties on an Airline forum. I asked if they "Guaranteed" a parking space for all travellers, as i was concerned about the situation. THey got back to me within the hour (Amazed at that!) and they said they did Guarantee a parking space and if i could'nt find a space in car parks 1 or 2, to go to the information desk and they would definately find me one!! So will be interesting to see how i go on, but i feel more reassured now! Having said that, i'll set off early just in case!!
Best Regards - Taggy

Re: if you fly from blackpool airport
Apparently when the spaces are all full they use some of the empty aircraft hanger..............
