Re: If you won the lottery?
If I won the Lottery I'd be incredibly suprised...as I don't play it.
To me it's just like a tax, but one we can choose not to play, and besides I don't agree with a lot of the 'good causes' some of the profits go to.
I'd much rather save the pound or so a week, and go on a cruise when I'm seventy.
Though the cruiseship is as likely to hit an iceberg, as most of you winning the lottery.

Re: If you won the lottery?
mm i think about this often - but i dont do the lottery lol so i never would win would i
but if i did - i would tell my mum and dad to find a house they liked as they dont like where they are living at the moment - then i would buy it for them
same with my sister
have a shopping spree
go on holiday for a month
then i would look for a house for me and my fella near the sea
pay for the house to be renovated
then learn to drive and buy a car (not a top notch one - just a runaround would do)
with the rest of the money i would take up a graphics design and photography course an go on to set up my own business

Re: If you won the lottery?
I'd give my sisters and brothers a £100,000 each, then stick £10,000 each in my nieces and nephews and great nephew and great nieces bank account, then go on holiday........ and let all the furor of me winning die down and when its done come back to my newly renovated house.
Oh maybe take spug with me ....

Live off the interest... interest on £10M is something like £1000 a day...

Re: If you won the lottery?
I would still work, I like my job, have customers who rely on me being there, and dont like being idle, if it was enough money, I would probably create some of the affordable housing we so desperately need, repairs on those would occupy some time, but I would probably have some of the holidays I have missed out on over the years.

Re: If you won the lottery?
If I won I would pack in work, squander the lot and then claim benefits.
