I'd be interesting in knowing how the British Govt. justifies "political asylum" to people who have travelled thru 7 or 8 EU countries before reaching the UK , surley there are protocols written in the EU "treatys" where each EU country is responsible for offering aid to any genuine political asylum seeker.
Doubt very much that anyone is transiting thru Russia or the former Russian republics without papers or means of support, Also suspect the land border between Greece and Turkey is closely watched .

theres plenty of countries they could go to but they dont have the NHS and more than accomodating to imigrants benefits system infact the UK is such a popular choice they had to install an express lane direct to the UK
