Re: Inherited traits.

I think I've got some traits from my mum and some of my dad's and I've also got some of my grandma's too.I wonder how long these traits go on being passed down for.Are our personalities inherited like heart trouble or high cholesterol?Do characteristics keep getting passed down like health problems do and can you get 2 or 3 generations of mild, placid people and then suddenly a real loud outspken person is born and it turns out she gets it from great great great grandma and the trait has just cropped up again?

When it comes to the kids, both Chris and I see ourselves in both of them (usually when we're pointing out the good bits).

Re: Inherited traits.

That's true with our kids too.If it's good behaviour we say oh she gets that from me but if it's an undesirable thing we go ooh she gets that from you! Take all the credit for the good bits yourself and blame the bits you don't like on him! Lol.

It's weird sometimes when I see my mother in my youngest daughter because she died before Emz was born.
