Internet banking

Saw a thing on BBC Breakfast this morning about a woman who lost £2000 banking on line. It appears she wanted to transfer the money from he currant account to her savings account, but made a slip and clicked on the account of some one she once made a payment to, now she can't get the money back. Alliance and Leicester have said there's nothing they can do, they won't even give the woman the other persons name because of he data protection act, the banking Ombudsman is powerless and even he police won't get involved as they say no crime has been committed. It seem you've got to be wide awake when using your online banking facilities

Re: Internet banking

I am surprised she even bothered to try to move the money.
£2000 at 0.5% interest would get her 66p a month after tax.

At the moment spare cash is better spent on things you are likely to need during the next year. I am convinced that devaluation and inflation are coming.
