Re: Is Money Important?
I wish I had a job that paid as much as I wanted for the time I put in. If money was that important then I'd get a job that did, but I enjoy doing what I'm doing at the minute. I am of course single with no kids though, so I owe nothing own next to nothing and have a small amount of money. I'll probably die happy alone and comfortable, as I don't need a lot.

Re: Is Money Important?
As other say, money is required to live a life, we all tend to want to 'better' ourselves but TBH when you get to a certain point quality of life becomes far more important.
I am lucky, I have a good job that pays well. We have a lot of teh trappings of life that people want yet I could earn a LOT more doing the same job. Why don't I? because it would mean working away from home, not seeing Siobhan grow up, a certain degree of risk of employment. I will not miss Siobhan growing up for anything. If it meant selling up and living in a caravan I'd do that. Money makes it comfortable, it doesn't make it good.

Re: Is Money Important?
Ok, I'll go along with that - I used to earn far more when I worked in Knutsford for a large company than I do now for an Arts organisation but, I still maintain that money is important and the only people who think it isn't have too much of it.

Re: Is Money Important?
lol I've got non gayle so your wrong there. I've got non, I've got no property no car, a few possessions, and I owe nothing, I'm a free spirit. I don't drink much, I don't smoke, I'm single, alone, and I'm a caring decent guy. I want for nothing and I'll share what I've got, when I've got it.
I'll stick by my opinion that money is not important. Survival is important.

Re: Is Money Important?
If I ever manage to bag myself that 98 year old multi-millionaire I''ve been searching for, I'll let you know if money was important!

Re: Is Money Important?
Yep, after ten years. Perhaps if I had pretended to have money, had a car on hp , a mortgage that I struggled to pay, with my fat wage that, makes me look like I've got money but haven't because I've got so much debt, and smoke and drank the remainder away, I'd not be single gayle, what do you think?
False security, false money, debt or what I have. If I had a choice of girl in those two situations, I know which I'd choose.
And to be honest I'm enjoying being single cos having three arguing over me last year did my head in.
